Tea Development and Promotion Scheme | Free of cost short term vocational training/health & hygiene course to the wards of tea plantation workers & their dependents

Purpose
To provide assistance for more employment opportunities to the people in tea plantation area by providing Vocational Training courses amongst the wards of tea plantation workers and their dependents for duration of six months to one year for each course.

Eligibility
- Beneficiary students should be wards of tea garden workers
- Age of the students shall be from 14 years to 40 years
- Student eligibility must be at least a pass in standard VIII
- Ceiling limit of monthly income of tea plantation worker/Staff and his spouse whose wards wish to undertake vocational training should not exceed Rs.25000/- per month.
