Purpose 
To attract highly skilled researchers (Indian nationals) working overseas in various cutting edge disciplines of biotechnology
Probable duration
5 years

Eligibility

  •  Any Indian national holding a Ph.D., M.D., M. Tech, M.Sc. or equivalent degree with an outstanding track record as reflected in publications and other recognitions and with at least three years of post-doctoral research experience in overseas research laboratories. 

  •  Work area for applicants: Life sciences and biotechnology, bio-engineering, health care (human and animal), agriculture and veterinary Biotechnology, bio-energy and allied areas. 

  •  Anyone currently working in India is not eligible.

  •  The maximum age limit is 55 years as on the closing date of the application.

Benefit Description

To financially help students to work as faculty or scientists and take up research assignments and supervise Doctoral/MS students.
