Purpose

To provide financial assistance in the form of subsidy and term loan to co-operative societies to help them develop their coir units.

Eligibility

 Production Co-operative Societies which have not availed any other Government subsidy
 There will be no income ceiling for assistance for setting up of project under Coir Udyami Yojana (CUY) Scheme
 Assistance under the Scheme is only available for projects for the production of coir fiber/ yarn/ products etc coming under coir sector

Benefit Description

Coir Udyami Yojana - Financial Assistance in the form of subsidy and term loan would be provided to co-operative societies for the up gradation and development of their coir unit.

Conditions if Any

The assistance will not be available for work-shed alone. But can avail assistance for machinery alone or work-shed and machinery together.
