  •  Minimum percentage in Post Graduation: 55%

  •  Minimum percentage in Under Graduation: 50%

  •  Employment Status: Unemployed

Benefit Description

Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Post Doctoral Fellowship - Financial assistance is provided to Post Graduate students from Scheduled Caste (SC) to carry out advanced research in the field of humanities and social sciences.

Application process

Online: Applications are invited through online mode once in a year through advertisement in leading newspapers & employment news. Short notification is also uploaded in the UGC website i.e. https://www.ugc.ac.in .

Other Details

Conditions if Any
  • The tenure of the award is three years with no provision for further extension. At the end of this period the fellow ceases to be a UGC research fellow with immediate effect.
  • Aadhaar will be used as an Identifier for release of grant under the scheme.
