To provide financial assistance in the form of subsidy and term loan to NGO/Voluntary Organization to help them develop their coir units.

Eligibility

  •  Registered NGOs which have not availed any other Government subsidy

  •  There will be no income ceiling for assistance for setting up of project under Coir Udyami Yojana (CUY) Scheme

  •  Assistance under the Scheme is only available for projects for the production of coir fiber/ yarn/ products etc coming under coir sector

Benefit Description

Coir Udyami Yojana - Financial Assistance in the form of subsidy and term loan would be provided to NGO's for the up gradation and development of their coir unit.

Conditions if Any
  • The assistance will not be available for work-shed alone. But can avail assistance for machinery alone or work-shed and machinery together.
