To provide financial assistance in the form of subsidy and term loan to individuals to help them develop their coir units.

Eligibility

  •  Any individual above 18 years of age with Indian Citizenship.

  •  There will be no income ceiling for assistance for setting up of project under Coir Udyami Yojana (CUY) Scheme.

  •  Assistance under the Scheme is only available for projects for the production of coir fiber/ yarn/ products etc. coming under coir sector.

Benefit Description

Coir Udyami Yojana - Financial Assistance in the form of subsidy and term loan would be provided to Individual for the up gradation and development of its coir unit.

Conditions if Any
  • Only one person from one family will be eligible for the assistance. The family includes self and spouse.
  • The assistance will not be available for work-shed alone. But can avail assistance for machinery alone or work-shed and machinery together.
