To provide assistance to co-operatives for setting up bagasse cogeneration in new sugar mills in special category states

Eligibility

  •  For bagasse cogeneration projects: Bagasse during crushing season.

  •  Bagasse Co-generation in Sugar Mills -Minimum 40 bar steam pressure.

  •  Maximum of upto 15% use of fossil fuel of total energy consumption in K. cals. or as per DPR, whichever is less.
