Eligibility

  • The scheme is applicable to the entire country. However, the scheme shall be implemented in the States and Union Territories which have amended APMC Act allowing direct marketing, contract farming and have permitted setting up of markets in the private and cooperative sectors.

  • Capital cost of the project for the purpose of subsidy will be calculated on the project cost as appraised by Financial Institution or actual cost of eligible components as certified by a Chartered Accountant, whichever is lower subject to the subsidy ceiling per MT as well as overall ceiling.
  • Credit linked back-ended subsidy is provided on capital cost of general or commodity specific infrastructure for marketing of agricultural commodities and for strengthening and modernization of existing agricultural markets, wholesale, rural periodic or in tribal areas. State Agricultural Marketing Boards/Market Committees and other State Agencies will be free to decide the quantum of loan or invest their own funds in lieu of loan as per their requirement.
