Subsidy to tea producer for new irrigation facilities

Purpose 
To provide subsidy to tea producer for increasing production, field productivity, quality of tea by encouraging for creating new irrigation facilities.

Eligibility

  •  Beneficiay shall use only the approved planting materials 

  •  The plant population shall not be less than 10,000 plants per hectare in the replanted /replacement planting area subject to limitation of topography

  •  Beneficiary should be a member of TRA (for the gardens in North India) and UPASI -TRF (for the gardens in South India) and must hold valid current membership at the time of submission of application to Tea Board

Conditions if Any
  • Subsidy will not exceed Rs.80,000/- per heactare
  • Subsidy will be limited up to 200 hectare of land
