Scholarship to the poorer sections of Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic tribe for pursuing Degree and Post Graduate level courses who are hostellers

Eligibility

  •  Those Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic tribe, (DNTs) whose family income is less than Rs.2.0 lakhs per annum (i.e. combined income of husband and wife) 

  •  Pursuing Degree and Post Graduate level courses in Medicine (Allopathic, Indian and other recognized systems of medicines), Engineering, Technology, Planning, Architecture, Design, Fashion Technology, Agriculture, Veterinary and Allied Sciences, Management, Business Finance /Administration, Computer Science/ Applications. Commercial Pilot License (including helicopter pilot and multiengine rating) course. Post Graduate Diploma courses in various branches of management and medicine. C.A./I.C.W.A./C.S./I.C.F.A. etc.(v) M. Phil., Ph.D. and Post Doctoral Programmes (D. Litt., D.Sc. etc.), Group I, Group II and Group III courses L.L.M.

Benefit Description

To provide assistance in the form of scholarship to improve educational empowerment of the DNTs who are not covered under SC/ST/Other Backward Class (OBC) category
